Southwestern Regional Corner
Greetings Brothers
I was born and raised in Kansas City, MO. I attended Linclon College Preparatory High, where I graduated from in 2006. Upon graduation I was accepted to the University of Missouri-Kansas City, and accepted into the Insitute for Urban Education, a program for students who are pursuing urban education. The program was a blessing rewarding me with a full-tution scholarship. I currently hold a 3.2 cumulative GPA. I believe and display hard work in overcoming any obstacles liife throws at me. Frederick Douglas once said, "If there is no struggle, there is no progress".
Over the next two years I have a lot of high expectations for not only myslef but everty undergaduate also. My expectations consist of:
- Increasing numbers of undergraduate but not by just taking anyone. I believe in quality over quantity.
- Encourage undergraduate and graduate chapters to work more to support each other to help bridge the gap and transition from going from an undergraduate chapter to a graduate chapter. (We have to undertsand Sigma is not a four commitment but a life time of hard work and dedication)
- Encourage chapters to work together and share ideas, as well as visiting each others schools for support and increasing our brotherhood.
- Increase more participation at State meetingd, Regional conferences, and at Conclave.
I am not here just as your 2nd Vice Regional Director, but as a Brother and I am here to serve you. I wil be the voice of the undergraduates that needs to be heard by our graduate members. I am here for anything, from suggestions, National office inquires, and most of all to serve you. I am honored to have been chosen to represent you all as your 2nd Vice Regional Director.
